The lash edit

What are strip lashes?

Strip lashes are false lashes built on a single continuous band that sits along your natural lash line. You add a thin line of lash glue to the band, let it get tacky for about 30 seconds, then press it down from the center outward. The whole thing takes about a minute, which is why strips are still the fastest way to get a full lash look at home.

Because the fibers are attached to one band, strip lashes go on and come off in one piece. That makes them the easiest false lash style for beginners — there is no mapping, no isolating and no cluster placement to learn.

Strip lashes vs cluster lashes

Strip lashes are a one-night look: apply before you go out, remove before bed, re-wear the same pair 15–25 times with care. Cluster lashes are bandless segments you place in small groups for a DIY lash extension set that stays on for up to 48 hours.

Most of our customers keep both. Strips handle last-minute dinners and photo days; clusters handle vacations, weddings and weekends when you want to wake up already done.

How to apply strip lashes

1. Curl your natural lashes and apply mascara first so everything blends. 2. Measure the strip against your lash line and trim the outer edge if it overhangs. 3. Run a thin line of Forever Bond glue along the band and wait 30 seconds until it turns tacky. 4. Press the center down first, then the inner and outer corners with a tweezer or your fingertips.

To remove, soak the band in micellar water or an oil-free remover, then peel gently from the outer corner. Clean the leftover glue off the band with tweezers, store the lashes back in the tray, and they are ready for the next wear.

How to make strip lashes last

Keep the band clean. Old glue build-up is what makes a strip lose its shape and stop laying flat. Peel it off after every wear while it is still soft.

Store your lashes in the original tray so the curl holds, avoid mascara directly on the fibers, and never soak the band in oil-based cleanser. Treated this way, one pack of three pairs realistically lasts you a couple of months of going out.

Strip Lashes FAQ

Are strip lashes reusable?
Yes. Each pair is re-wearable 15–25 times when you remove the glue from the band after every wear and store them back in the tray.
How long do strip lashes stay on?
A full day or night — usually 8–12 hours with a quality lash adhesive like Forever Bond. Strip lashes are designed to be removed before bed, unlike cluster lashes which hold up to 48 hours.
Are strip lashes good for beginners?
Strip lashes are the easiest false lash style to learn. One band, one press, no mapping or isolating required, and if it goes on crooked you can lift it and reposition it right away.
What glue works best with strip lashes?
A latex-free adhesive that dries clear and stays flexible. Forever Bond is the same glue we use for our clusters and it works on strip bands too.
Can I wear mascara with strip lashes?
Apply mascara to your natural lashes before the strip goes on. Putting mascara on the fibers themselves shortens how many times you can re-wear the pair.
